We are waiting for spring…
But in the meantime we tired to outsource a few small jobs.
We have some beautiful wooden doors to the sacristy, and like everything else, they were painted in this terrible brown-betroot color probably in the 1980s.
But luckily after removing the pews, we discovered the original color on the pillars.
So, te two mezzanine pillars were cleaned as a test. and they came out well, being in a good condition. Having good proffessionals around we will restore the carpentry of the Cha-Pel to its original colouring.After cleaning we put a layer of a wood paint with ols. Looks much better, I think.
