Some very important people visited us today…
Today, the inspector from the Provincial Conservator of Monuments discussed with the construction manager, inspector and roof contractor the individual stages of roof replacement and possible installation of roof windows (to our indescribable joy). We timidly submitted a request for their installation in the application for conservation guidelines and, to our joy, we received the green light.
The Office of the Conservator is very supportive of our activities so that the Ka-Plica building will serve people again and not fall into oblivion.
A beautiful autumn day additionally contributed to the positive energy of this meeting, where all participants could not get over our beautiful location and the palette of colors surrounding our Old Lady.
Ka-Plica herself was decked out in golden colors and puffed out her cheeks, unable to get over the fact that so many people were making such a fuss around her, an old woman.
Sometimes I would like to go back to those years when everything was simpler and time passed more slowly.
