The fact that we were quiet, does not mean nothing was happening at the Cha-pel…
We wrote letters and learned how to work with a conservator. It’s not easy. Our application for windows on both sides of the roof was rejected (as recommended by the roofer) and we have to go back to the conservator’s recommendation, i.e. windows on only one side of the roof. The letter rejecting our proposal to arrange the windows was very strict, even hostile, as if we were already historical criminals. After recovering from our first emotions and rejecting the instinct of self-preservation, i.e. jumping in with our claws, we returned to the negotiating table and wrote a new polite proposal, consulting it extensively with everyone. In the meantime, the roof has already been placed on the main building and the gentlemen are finishing the roof on the sacristy with the snow falling. Pickup in a week. Let’s hope everything goes well and our subsidy of PLN 129,000 doesn’t go to waste. Unfortunately, this amount was only 1/3 of the price of the entire project. Merry Christmas everyone and we invite you for a walk around Ka-Plica to appreciate the new, beautiful roof on our noble old lady. She got a total facelift!
